Yeah it’s good stuff. I’ve been trying to apply an “atonal” approach to rock-improvisation. It actually works quite well if you allow for some repetition (very necessary to all beat-driven music), so what I do doesn’t really live up to Schoenberg’s dream of never repeating a note till all others have been played! ;)

I think I actually played one of his pieces when I was in the Columbus State University Orchestra. I don’t remember which one it was.
